Edd Helms Group is a
diversified services company providing a wide range of electrical,
mechanical, air conditioning, tradeshow, exhibition, wireless
cellular tower and marine air conditioning services in South
Florida. Our service area includes all of Dade, Broward and
southern Palm Beach counties.
The Edd Helms Group excels
with its highly skilled field labor force, broad sales, and project
management expertise, as well as, our highly efficient service,
maintenance, and retrofit design build operations. The focus
of our business is performing service and retrofit work for
commercial, residential and marine customers. Currently, we
have three offices with approximately 150 employees and 70 service
vehicles.
Our electrical company was
founded in 1975 as Edd Helms Inc. by its president, W. Edd Helms,
Jr. Our air conditioning company was founded in 1952 as
McDonald Air Conditioning Inc. by its president, Frank McDonald, Jr.
and was acquired in 1994 by Edd Helms Inc. In 1999, we merged
with Hotelecopy Inc.- a publicly traded company - and established our
parent name as Edd Helms Group, Inc.
