How We Got Started

Our electrical company was founded in 1975 as Edd Helms Inc. by W. Edd Helms, Jr. Our air conditioning company was founded in 1952 as McDonald Air Conditioning by Frank McDonald, Jr. and was acquired in 1994 by Edd Helms Inc. In 1999, we merged with Hotelecopy and established our parent company name as Edd Helms Group, Inc.

 

The Edd Helms Group provides electrical services under the name of Edd Helms Electric, mechanical and air conditioning services under the name of Edd Helms Air Conditioning, tradeshow and event services under the name of Edd Helms Trade Shows & Events, and building automation services under the name of Gulfstream Controls.
