Bob Roberts becomes new HVAC General Manager

Edd Helms Air Conditioning & Electric is pleased to announce Bob Roberts has been hired to become our new HVAC General Manager. Bob will be succeeding Wade Helms who will continue to serve in that position until January 2006, at which time Wade will succeed the company's President and founder, Edd Helms. Bob has accumulated nearly 25 years of experience in the mechanical industry since leaving the University of Florida in 1985. Prior to joining Edd Helms Air Conditioning & Electric, Bob Roberts was employed by The Trane Company of South Florida as a team sales leader in their existing building systems commercial group. Bob Roberts grew up in the Norland area of South Florida, studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Florida, and in 1992 graduated from a 5 year Trade Apprenticeship jointly sponsored by the Mechanical Contractors Association of South Florida and the United Association Local 725 Air Conditioning Refrigeration and Pipe Fitters.
