Edd Helms Group Issues Annual 10KSB for 2008

Edd Helms Group filed their Annual Report 10KSB for the fiscal year ended May 31, 2008 with the SEC on September 15th.

Revenues were $21,564,542, a decrease of $1,220,731 or 5.7% below those reported in 2007. Income before income taxes were ($96,079), a decrease of $1,162,053 from those reported in 2007. Non recurring expenses not related to current operations for 2008 were $628,800, and for 2007 were $474,500.

Condensed business segments for the fiscal year ending May 31, 2008, reported as follows:

Electric Revenues in 2008 were $12,345,959 compared to $10,623,545 in 2007. Electric operating earnings before depreciation, amortization, interest & income taxes in 2008 were $951,164 compared to $310,329 in 2007.

Air Conditioning Revenues in 2008 were $9,249,289 compared to $10,256,830 in 2007. Air Conditioning operating earnings in 2008 were ($237,131) compared to $473,764 in 2007.

Datatelcom Revenues in 2008 were $($30,706) compared to $1,904,898 in 2007. Datatelcom operating earnings in 2008 were ($86,630) compared to $295,978 in 2007.

According to Wade Helms, Executive Vice President, “The decrease in revenues and net income can be attributed to the downturn in the South Florida building services economy."
