Edd Helms Group powers Miami International Boat Show docks with Hubbell Wiring Devices

When the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) was told it had a year to relocate the 2016 Progressive Miami International Boat Show and build all new temporary floating docks, it turned to the companies it represents to help make the show a success. Edd Helms Group partnered with Hubbell Marine and used their familiar yellow Hubbell products for the in-water portion of the event to connect the boats on display to the temporary marina power system built and installed by Edd Helms Group.
"Working overtime and weekends to install the temporary electrical power systems, Edd Helms Group relied on Hubbell Marine employees to ramp-up their manufacturing capabilities to supply single-pole devices, adapters and other electrical products" said Wade Helms, President & CEO of Edd Helms Group.
"The Miami show's timing created an incredibly tight schedule to get the marina portion up and running in time," said Joe DiMaria, Hubbell's director of marine marketing and sales. "It's the premier event in the US. We were only too happy to do our part to help it become the success it was." The NMMA reported attendance increased 4% to 100,279 attendees.
